Metec manufactures a large and varied range of anodes and bracket fixings suitable for cathodic protection of all below water steelwork for ports, harbours, and jetties. Our anodes are specially designed to meet specific structural requirements and can be welded onto or mounted on special brackets to allow future inspection and replacement. Anodes for jetties may also be bracket mounted but can be cast as bracelets or fitted onto bracelet bands with specific fittings. Safeguarding the structural integrity of client port and harbour installations by installing Metec sacrificial anodes safeguards against corrosion attack to prolong the life of the port & harbour installations. Most of the anodes suitable for harbour installations are modified designs of those anodes used for protection of frames, rigs and jetties used in the oil industry where cathodic protection has been used extensively.
